Harassed: DONT GO

Today (July 11th.) my aunt and i visited the Pietermaritzburg, KZN store at Liberty Midlands Mall. As we often do, sometimes we don't purchase but we used to love going in store to find our next read! When we visited this branch today, a lady kept following us around the store... we didn't think much of it and when we decided to leave we were stopped by the same lady that was following us. She confronted us and basically accused us of *****ing. She said about a month ago we were under charged for a book. R80, if not a bit more. She said that it was captured on camera and that it was us. She then said that she tried contacting my aunt through her Phonics card, neither of us have a phonics card. My aunt asked if she could see the video because we hadn't purchased anything from the store in the last month. She left for two minutes, came back and said that store footage gets deleted every month to make space for more recordings. My aunt said she would pay the money away because she is making us feel like *******. She insisted that it is fine and that the employee covered the cost. Our entire day was ruined, we felt dirty and harassed. Do yourself a favour and go to Bargain Books instead!
