Courage under fire

..when my husband's celphone was ****** on the 1st of October at the Menlyn branch.

When I was standing at the counter being assisted by Armand, Carl went to look for a Moleskin diary for 2021. His phone was in his back pocket, and when he kneeled down, a man with a dark complexion dressed in a white T-shirt, black jeans, white Adidas sneakers and a black mask, came from "somewhere" to "look" at the cards on a stand next to the diaries; on the security cameras later we could see how the man slipped his hand into Carl's pocket, and hastily disappeared through the exit.

Carl only realised that his phone with his bank card in the cel cover was gone,when he wanted to pay.

We were flabbergasted, but Armand, Werner, Robyn, Christinah, Silas, Barry and Menlyn security people, pulled out the stops to try and find this opportunistic *****. Unfortunately, with no success. Courage and kindness under fire indeed.
