Bad experience Social Kitchen no follow up
29th December I took my 22 year old daughter to see the new revamped store. We loved it. Its been decorated in a delightful charming style. The restaurant looked appealing it was about 12.30 but we were treated with disdain by the hostess. Despite many open tables they were apparently \reserved'. We were seated by the window, lovely view after no service at the bar. Hostess then suddenly found a table in the middle of the room. Waitress was new, didn't know what food was vegan. Chef too busy to respond. Ordered. Bread awful. It was sourdough bread, scorched. Did not taste good. The spinokopita was dreadful, ate about a quarter and still became very sick later. Daughters tomato terrine was tasteless. Service was poor due to new staff. Bill was steep.
Wrote complaint on Exclusive Book site. No response. Wrote complaint to Social Kitchen 31st December.
Received response the same day from Nicolene and spoke to her on the phone a few days later.
Despite promises to follow up and invite us for a better experience have heard nothing.
Emails sent to Mr Trisk bounce, and emails are returned from Nicolene's mail address.
A disappointing experience made even more disappointing.
