Annoying
Went into Exclusive Books in Cresta on Saturday to buy books for bookclub. Spent quite a while there choosing those that I wanted - probably about an hour. When I got to the till, I was advised that the credit card machines were not working and I would have to pay cash. Why not have a notice at the door, advising people of this fact? Why not maybe have a member of staff walking around, advising customers of this? And why not have an old credit card swipe machine as a backup? It was very irritating to leave without having purchased any of my chosen books.

Unfortunately the credit card system being offline is an issue that is beyond our control, although we do agree that the staff could have been a bit more proactive in informing customers of the situation. Unfortunately we no longer make use of the \old credit card swipe machines\" for legal reasons as well as for the safety of our customers' information.
