Faulty car and bad service
I bought a vehicle in August 2018, after taking the vehicle for the first time after purchase, I was informed of multiple oil leaks on the transfer case and rear side shafts. An estimate of about R60000 was given to me by the service center.
I then contacted Exclusive Autos who asked that everything is put in writing, which I thought would not do any good. I went to exclusive motors the next day 05/12/2018.
After speaking to a manager, Stef and the workshop manager. They said I can leave the car there and they will fix it through the warranty and I will get my car back Saturday 08/12/2018.
They then had a driver take me back to Fourways where I stay after telling me that they don't have a loan vehicle for me. I then sent a confirmation email to Stef as per the discussions we had, to which he responded that he would like the invoice for the service and the details of the work that needed to be done. I rep**** and told him that everything is inside the glove compartment in the car. Later I received an email that they they did not say they will fix the car nor will they and that I need to fetch my car, which is a lie as they did say they will assist by claiming through the warranty, they even went as far as to say they will change the wording to ensure it goes through the warranty.
When I said that this is not right and I will then go the ombudsman, they all but laughed and said that fine.
I requested that they at least have the courtesy to bring my car back to me, to which they purely said they have no drivers and I should make a plan.
After reading some reviews, I can see that there is pattern of selling faulty cars, then saying they will assist and then just saying its not their problem. I can honestly say that I have never received such poor service and bad attitude from any company that I have dealt with.
I hope that everybody that is thinking of buying a car from them will see these ratings before continuing with any deals.
