I am writing this to advise other consumers to exercise extreme caution before contracting EVZ Projects (Pty) Ltd. My experience with this company has been defined by overpromised results, exceptionally poor communication, and highly unreasonable, overpriced charges. When booking their services under an expo promotion, everything is presented as a complete, all-inclusive package. However, once the upfront payments are made, the reality of their business model becomes clear. Their communication drops significantly, and you are left dealing with massive shortfalls between what was promised and what is physically delivered on your property. Furthermore, their contracts contain hidden variables and highly skewed liability clauses designed to shift structural and financial risks entirely onto the customer while locking you into non-refundable terms. You risk being heavily overcharged for labor and physical materials that are never actually utilized or completed on your site. If you are considering using this company, demand a complete, transparent breakdown of every single line item and do not hand over money upfront until you have thoroughly vetted their heavily one-sided terms.

All the bad reviews were true and then some. I requested a modified quote, specifying what I wanted, I accepted the quote, only to be told afterwards that my requested item wasn't on the quote, and that they will charge me extra for the item, even though their "PR" person messed up. They only offer justifications, not solutions. Their communication is terrible, like other people have mentioned too. They take their time to answer Whatsapp messages and calls, and sometimes even ignores calls. Had to put up a "fight" to get my submersible pump installed a week later, because they forgot to tell me they don't install pumps a week before Kragdag. They demand full payment before they start, so if there are any stuff-ups from their side, you will have no leverage on them. They leave sites dirty and want to charge extra for cleaning. They don't connect the pipe that comes from the borehole with the pipes that are preinstalled, apparently "one of their rules" which was never communicated to me, after I told them that my pipes are already installed. Only when they arrived on site this "rule" was communicated to me. My final cost was R63000 for a 30m drilled hole, a 370W pump, 21m steel casing, 30m PVC pipe and gravel, and a 5m above ground cable. No booster (even though I requested one), no Jojo tank (I did request no tank) and no 3-stage filter (also I requested that to be removed from quote). There are much cheaper options out there, that offer more.

DO NOT USE EVZ projects. They lure you in with amazing specials (even sharing photos of diagrams on a white board to explain everything you get for free) but then once you except they add numerous add-ons after drilling and tell you that you did not understand what they were offering. Always pressuring you with payment deadlines so that you don't have time to think about it. Telling us to pay before 13H00 or we lose the discount. They told us after drilling the extra costs would be : extra steel pylons (R13000) PVC pipes (R96000) gravel packing (R28000). Then they said if we pay before 13H00 we would get the gravel packing for free, which we said we need it on email. The email that followed was R96000-R26000, note the R2000 difference. This was intentional as it was then said we still need to pay for gravel packing and it was not the same deal as made before. They lie so good that they believe it themselves as they came to sit down and ask us for a good review after 2 days of fighting to get this project done before we are bankrupt.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the service and communication I have experienced with EVZ project Pty Ltd during a recent project of borehole drilling. Despite receiving an initial quote, I encountered numerous unexpected demands for additional payments and items not included in the original agreement. For example, I was told the steel casing was insufficient, requiring R48,000 more, followed by additional charges for PVC installation that was never quoted. These hidden costs and poor communication have caused me significant stress, Furthermore, although I have already paid R116,000, the project remains incomplete, and their company is now requesting an additional R68,000. This situation is unacceptable and has left me feeling misled and unsupported. I spoke to them in several occasions but they are always busy avoiding their clients. They are very bad I must say and I will not recommend them to do your borehole drilling because they have hidden costs and they do have the so called "AGREEMENT" that they will make you to sign but once you are in, Ijoo, they start to show their colours. So be vigilant and have a thorough explanation but they are not recommenced shame! I am now stuck with the borehole that cannot produce water although they were paid R116000,00. These guys, ******....

EVZ Projects is by far the most horrible service experience I have ever encountered. I strongly warn anyone considering them to proceed with extreme caution. Their customer service is nonexistent, communication is extremely poor, and there is absolutely no transparency. At no point do they clearly explain their services, the process, or what clients should realistically expect. However, they are quick to mention additional costs — and those costs can run into tens of thousands, all while leaving you completely in the dark. What makes the situation even worse is how they handle payments. They lure you in with what seems like a good “special” price, only to continuously introduce hidden fees at every stage of the project. Clients are pressured into making immediate payments, and if you don’t comply, they stop working or threaten to abandon the project altogether. There is no professionalism, no accountability, and no respect for clients. Management is especially rude, dismissive, and lacks basic customer care. The way this company operates feels dishonest and manipulative. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and financial loss do not use EVZ Projects.
