Disappointing experience – difficult to exit after early issues
We signed up with Everlytic with the intention of using the platform for our business, but very early in the setup process we encountered multiple issues that affected core functionality. This included problems with domain verification, inconsistent behaviour on landing pages, and workflows not operating as expected. Based on this experience, we made the decision not to proceed, as the platform did not function in the way we expected or required for our business. We communicated our concerns and indicated that we wanted to cancel at that stage. While the Everlytic team later reached out to arrange onboarding sessions, this was after we had already decided not to continue due to the issues experienced. At that point, we had lost confidence in the platform and its suitability for our needs. The most frustrating part has been the cancellation process. We were later informed that our cancellation was not considered “formal” and that we remain liable for ongoing charges and early termination fees, despite not using the service or deriving any benefit from it. We feel this is unreasonable given that our decision to cancel was made early on due to functionality concerns. Our advice to others: take time to fully understand the contract terms, especially around cancellation and fees, before signing. Also make sure the platform meets your expectations very early on, as exiting the agreement may not be straightforward. Overall, this has been a disappointing experience.
