Extremely disappointing experience.

Wedding video still not delivered after 6+ months

We used Ever After Studios, owned by André & Aden Badenhorst, for our wedding videography on 28 March 2026, and unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing.

Our contract stated a 4-6 month delivery timeline for the wedding video. We are now more than 6 months after our wedding, and we still have not received our highlight video. We also paid for the service in full before our wedding, so there is no outstanding payment delaying delivery.

What has made the situation even more frustrating is the lack of communication. We have had to repeatedly reach out via WhatsApp for updates, rather than being proactively informed about the progress of our wedding video. Communication has been inconsistent, and we have often been left wondering what is actually happening with footage that is incredibly important and sentimental to us.

From our perspective, the agreed delivery timeframe has not been met, and the level of communication throughout the process has not been what we expected when paying in full for a professional wedding videography service.

What is particularly frustrating is that the company appears to believe that everything is fine, despite the fact that the contractual delivery period has passed, the service was paid for in full before our wedding, and we are still waiting for our highlight video.

A wedding video is not just another product that can be delivered whenever convenient. It captures once-in-a-lifetime memories that cannot be recreated. After paying a significant amount in full before our wedding, we expected the agreed timelines to be respected and, at the very least, regular and transparent communication when delays occur.

We really hope that Ever After Studios resolves this and delivers what was contractually agreed to, but based on our experience so far, we cannot recommend their service.
