THEFT BY FALSE PRETENCES

We travelled to the Seychelles. Land arrangements by the outstanding Seyunique team. I pointed out I only wanted to fly business and was sold 5 business class seats by Etihad. However, 4 of us were forced to fly economy even though business seats were available. This ruined our holiday as getting there is as important as the destination, in my view. If Etihad had told me only economy was available, we would have gone elsewhere.<br> I have not had any response to emails sent. I took a day off our holiday to go to the Air Seychelles office (code-share partner to Etihad) to no avail. The reception at the Air Seychelles departure lounge was apathetic at best and denied us entry.The purser on our flight back was unable to help. <br> Investec private bank is aware of this undesirable situation.<br> This airline has now managed to get a code-share arrangement with SAA. I dread to think of myself flying via Abu Dhabi and getting more of the same special treatment. As a result, my premier Voyager status will lapse this year as I ponder voting with my feet.<br> We were ****** and I am still waiting for reparations.
