Tckts res on Net.On arr-no b/kngs were made

Bookings made via Net. We have received confirmation of bookings & seats. They requested whether I would like to upgrade from Eco to Buss class. Although we booked with Etihad, we flew by Pakistan & S/A a/ways. When responded yes on the invite to upgrade 4 tickets, the told me to arrge with the other a/lines myself. I have paid Etihad the amount of +/- $6000- They were obliged to take my payment, but when it came to doing the job, they distantiated themselves as the 1st Party. <br> On arrival at air a/port, no bkgs were made. My family & I were sent back. We asked at Etihad counter to assist - they bluntly refused. WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT - in a foreign Country - PAKISTAN. We \begged\" Pakistan a/lines to allow us onto the plain. At # 99.9, they allowed us to board. Arrg on Abu Dhabi, the same occurred. On S/A a/lines no bkgs were made. At the S/A counter - again they assisted us. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! In S/A we requested Etihad again to upgrade our return tickets. They refused & pushed it down on S/A airlines - PASSING THE BUCK - TAKING NO ACCOUNTABILITY. At S/A airlines, they rightly told us that the bkg was done with Etihad. Responsibility is their's. DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE!!!"
