Seats paid for but never received. No refund given.

I paid R2500 to Etihad to reserve two seats using the Etihad app the day before my flight to Johannesburg on 21 June 2024. I received confirmation that my seats had been reserved. When I received my boarding pass at the airport I was given different seats than what I had paid for. I raised the issued with flight attendant and she advised that I should lodge a claim. I lodged a claim on the 4th of July and as of today 21 October I have received no feedback regarding my claim so there does not appear to be an prospect of receiving my refund.
