Bumped off our flight with little compensation

Hi there,

Please can you assist? My husband and I are traveling to South Africa on your airline. We have travelled from Mumbai and we were about to connect but then told our flight it booked to full capacity. As a result my husband, who is injured and on crutches, and myself have to take another flight. This has massive implications on us from a personal and a business perspective. Due to this we will both be unable to attend two very important meetings scheduled for tomorrow 9th Jan. Although the transfer desk counter was helpful we are very disappointed that we have been so inconvenienced and feel we should receive some sort of compensation besides for just hotel accommodation. I do not want to have to escalate this issue higher as we are very upset and would like your assistance please.
