Bad communication from Etihad Airways

We were booked on a flight to Johannesburg from Male Maldives via Abu Dhabi. When we arrived on the airport we were informed that they have changed our flight to another airline and via Dubai. 4 hours later…. The airline never even bothered to contact us or explained the reason. Just said that the plane was overbooked ..
