Zero service delivery

The residents of Queensburgh are getting tired of the zero service delivery we are receiving. We have been reporting non functional lights for 18 months and nothing has been done. We complain about sewerage running down the river and nothing happens. We complain about a water leak that was repaired and 3 weeks later the material that was dug out the ground is still lying on our verges and the hole is not repaired yet. I wonder who will be paying for the damage to cars. We get told there are no funds available. The private contracted don't want to do work for you as they don't get paid. We pay our rates so the only explanation I could think of is someone is lining their pockets with the monies many for the upliftmeny and maintenance of our area. It's time to rethink why the municipality is here. It's to maintain the communities not to increase your own personal wealth.
