Where does your DEPOSIT go when you die??

On 29/11/2021 I made contact with the eThekini Municipality via their official website to find out how to reclaim my mothers electricity deposit as she passed away on 20/09/2021.

I received a correspondence acknowledgement from them on 29/11/2021 @ 08:27 together with a reference number and statement that the query was receiving attention.

To-date NOTHING further has transpired and I now wonder if the deposit will ever be seen in the rightful bank account again.
