Road and Driveways damaged and not repaired

In this instance, I am unfortunate enough to be living and working in the same road (Rodger Sishi Road)<br> <br> My office is on Rodger Sishi in New Germany and it must be close to or just over a year now that street lights have been erected. In order to have them installed, trenches were dug across Nipper Road and across all driveways on Rodger Sishi. These trenches have never been repaired. It was merely filled with sand and stone. I have a driveway that is over 8m long and with rains, the trench has now been completely exposed. We contacted the department and were sent a paper in excess of 15 pages to justify our claim. What claim ???<br> Nipper road trench was first filled with sand and stone, now it has patches of tar. <br> <br> My home is on Rodger Sishi in Westville. I paid good money to have the driveway tarred. It now stands with a strip of concrete over it where the trench used to be. It has not even been done correctly so as a result, with time, impact and rain, there will be separation along the join. <br> <br> It's a joke how these departments operate. We are tax payers. Without us, there would be no Municipality. Why can't your job be done correctly. <br>
