Poor service delivery electricity department

I live in Inanda and always when there is Loadshedding they take electricity for more than 10 hours, when we call the department they say it's a fault but why is it only happening to us because every week we complain about the same thing, cant cook, cant do anything. I believe we are undermined because we live in informal settlements.
