******* Electricity Connections will not stop

In 2005 I bought a house which I was not staying in up until July 2015. When I moved into the house I did an application for electricity connection which is a first time application. To my amazement I was advised that I will need to pay an amount of R10 000 in order for them to connect electricity. This is a first time application, there has never been an installation done in that house. For this reason I think that ******* connections will never come to an end because the Municipality is failing to provide to us. The municipality is able to pay large sum of monies in support for international concerts but is failing to provide FREE FIRST TIME installation to the people that are in need. I would have understood if my electricity was connected *******ly but because I do not like doing that I am connected through my neighbour. I have just given birth and I am expected to stay in the dark especially with winter approaching fast. <br> <br> The municipal has surely failed me, I stay in the township I don't earn so much but I am told that in order for them to connect I need to pay 10k just because my house is extended. I tried to explain that I was not the one who extended the house but NO
