Highly frustrated resident
I logged a call on Monday morning before 6pm and was given the reference number F201102/1424. Throughout the day I was told a plumber was being dispatched to the area. Today I woke up to still having no water. I called again and quoted the reference number and was told that the call was closed as water was restored which was false.
I was given a new reference number, F201103/72. Throughout the day again I was told a plumber was on site. I called around 17:00 only to be told nothing was reported in the area and no plumber was assigned. The person who took the call just dropped the call. I made another 6 to 8 calls and all your call centre agents kept cutting my call. I managed to get through 1 decent agent who was kind enough to put me through the supervisor, Zane who gave me proper information and said the call will be escalated.
I am frustrated that it's going on 3 days with no water. I am frustrated that the call centre agents think this is a joke and that they get away with it, secure that they working for Ethekwini who will let them get away with their incompetence. I am frustrated that no water tankers have been dispatched to the area amidst the worst pandemic of our lives whereby water is needed to fight this virus. I am frustrated that we are unable to do our washing or have water to flush the toilets.
