Failure to fix burst pipes

On the 24/08/2019 we reported a sewer pipe spillage and we were given ref ***. This problem has not yet been fixed up until now. Dirty water is flooding and is stinking badly. I thought because this is health hazard would be treated speedily and urgent. But each and every time I call to do follow up I'm told that the matter is being escalated to the superintendent ( name is not given. The last time I called was 27/10/2019 ( Sunday). I got the feedback that the department has been waiting for a pipe that was ordered and they just received the pipe, so I must expect the engineers the following day to , which was Monday 28th to come and fix it. Monday has come and gone no one came. Today 08/11/2019 I called and spoke to Nelisiwe and asked for a supervisor. I waited about twenty minutes and got feedback that the supervisor is busy. That proves that he /she is not interested to listen to my query because I believe that the consultant gave my details. So I am publishing that anyone in Durban Municipality Department who knows the Superintendent for water and sanitation, inform him about this problem.
