Ethekwini water and electricity bills climbing HIGH

<p>It's a concern that with all the water restrictions we are experiencing to as long as 12hours per day, the water bill still rise. With less use of water the bill should be dropping since the start of the drought, the use of estimation by the Ethekwini municipality in water and electricity has extremely become unfair to the point of high bills for less usage.</p> <p>Furthermore, we are now receiving a water bill with the sewerage disposal usage in measurements. Question is, how are they measuring human waste when thay cannot even measure water and electricity usage hence the bold estimate calculation used without even consistant meter readings. The RATES as well, this is very unfair that now we are going to pay rates based on the size of your house; this is completely in contradiction of RATES.</p> <p> </p> <p>Water, Electricity and Gabbage disposal (RATES) should be at the flat rate as these are a basic human necessities. Really what did we vote for, at list the goverment should be covering these burdens for people since the working class people does not depend on the goverment even for healthcare. The working class people does not receive anything from the goverment except for being charge high tax rates and every other penalties.</p> <p>Nevermind the bad service we receive at the Ethekwini municipality but the municipality much change this ******ion immediately as we don't even care who they owe monies to.............. Municipality should'nt recover through our hard earned money for living.</p>
