Ethekwini Municipality Water Issue

Gooday, i just want to lay a complaint about the terrible service that verulam ethekwini municipality has given our community for a number of years. This effects the whole of trenance park madrona drive, bottle brush , new phase area.

All of a sudden they just shut off all water supplies with no warning what so ever and it can be for a number of days with no water . This is the 3rd day with no water and no water trucks to supply the community with water. When trying to follow up whats happening on there's whatsapp line they just read the message with no response or care what so ever. Its like they just dont give a damn and i have screenshots if proof is needed.. A number on old age people has already fainted and cant cope with this as they have no one to get water for them and cant afford to buy water from shops as they dont even care to send water tankers. Even if its luck they will only send 1 water tanker truck to supply over 600 houses . The truck gets empty at the beginning of the street and does not return. its really sad to see this happening for a number of years with no worry what so ever by Ethekwini to fix this problem.

People are getting fired from work as theres no water to have a shower, no water for toilets, no water to drink . How does one survive . I hope this get looked to by someone who will actually make a difference as the call centres and whatsapp lines are all useless..
