eThekwini Municipality shows no remorse

I write this email with a huge disappointment from the eThekwini water and sanitation. I called in yesterday morning to report a sewage pipe that has burst in our yard, we cannot even go outside because there is **** all over the yard, We have small children who cannot even go outside to play, I have had a headache all day because the smell is too much. What should we do to get assistance.

I was given a reference number yesterday morning and told to wait 24-48 hrs, it's almost 48 hrs now but no one seems to care in your department to help us.

We have had this problem for years, every 3 or 4 months we are calling for the same problem but no one seems to care enough to help us. Why was this pipe located right outside our kitchen, why can't the municipality remove this from us. We are stressing about Corona right but there's no hygiene,
