ethekwini electricity department is a joke

we residents of Bonela has been having endless power outages since the recent shack dwellers erected these shacks & connected ******* power overloading the grid. when I continuously complain to the councilor he says he has taken the matter too many times. so my opinion is the people in the municipality is just there to earn a salary & don't care about consumers. the electricity call is not much of help its become a norm call gets answered between 17 minutes to 25 minutes every time you phone & late at night it's answered in a few minutes by sleepy minds and the only answer you get is no feedback now this is after about 6/7 hours & say they still on site and don't know the problem my opinion is they not on site that's why no feedback coz I was told every hour they get feedback. the other nite our lights were going off/ on for about 5 minutes so I decided to go to local garage to buy more batteries for my emergency lamps. at the bottom of the road the guys got the thick overhead cable on the floor and doing what I don't know so I drove past but fortunately the power never go off the next evening I was in the bathroom & the lights flicked then went dark so it means this assholes were up to no good again. I messaged the councilor & he gave me an email address for maxwell mthembu & said he is the head of the electricity department complain to him I dud that & waiting for a reply. the people who live in these shacks don't pay for water & lights and see the cars they drive posh expensive cars recently we had no water for a number of b4 that it was electricity now electricity again what next truly the service delivery is flipping poor they in the municipality should do their jobs not get employed just to earn a salary becoz that's the problem in SA local elections is coming up & these assholes will come to such your ass for votes once elected they disappear like ghost.... poor service no voting for me all in all our municipality
