ETHEKWINI ELECTRICITY DEPARTMENT

A few houses on my road have suffered electrical outage for a day and half (10 -11 December 2017).A fault was reported to the municipality to sort out electricity in School Road Ottawa( Ref Number ********** ). This is also the second time in the year (2017) we have had to endure no electricity for period of nearly a day and half.

The municipality refuses to advise when the matter will be sorted out. The call centre refuses to answer calls and advise when the matter will be sorted out.

There appears to be a problem with maintenance and general management at the municipality. Ironically ,houses across my house on the same street have electricity.

As of writing this complaint on the 11 December 2017, 8:20pm the municipality has failed to resolve this matter.

This complaint is against an organ of state (Local Government) and one wonders if management at City really care about providing services to citizens. Really disappointed!!
