DURBAN METRO POLICE : CONSPICUOUS BY THEIR ABSENCE .

The Durban Metro Police is clearly a shadow of its former self . In the mornings and afternoons when motorists are travelling to work and in the afternoon when they are returning from work traffic is at its peak . Guess WHAT . During this period the metro cops are conspicuous by their absence . In short they are nowhere to be found . In peak hour traffic when taxis are running AMOK a metro police officer is hard to find . Their whereabout and duties for the day are are best known to their superiors . If their presence is not felt in the city GOD knows what they talk about at their weekly meetings. NO doubt a parlous state of affairs . An indictment on this depts ability to run its affairs .
