Days without electricity is a disaster

After the flooding took place on Monday the 22nd of April. Many people was left devastated. I understand that the eThekwini Municipality is trying their best to obtain many homes. But we tried phoning the municipality multiple times. We havent got electricity from Monday 22nd of April. People told us that the truck that is sorting out the problem is on the next road and will be with us shortly. But like this been going on for two days now. Other people say that they only sorting out electricity in one house in particular. So like what the hell... Is this person in this particular house their relative or something. Because like this is not fair one bit. Will the municipality compensate for our food? Because all the food from my fridge and freezer are all gone off. Will they replace it? This is the fourth day without lights. Nd I have two old ladies and a 4 year old child staying with me, as well as my parents and sister. These four days has been miserable. We have no hot water to bath with. We have no stove to cook our food on. Please. Please. I beg of you. Please assist us. Please?? I will be so grateful if u do??
