Dear Hello Peter

Trust this mail finds you well

Since August we reported that at A2174 Kingbhekuzulu Drive, Inanda, 4309 we having problems regarding the water and we have been reporting this matter several times telephonic, and and also on the 26th of August 2017 we went to your premises to report the matter again.

we have had several plumbers coming to check and on the 1st of August the plumbers that were sent, After their inspection they advice us that the Clock from the actual meter is broken, and it been broken for a while, so therefor it just rotating and not pumping the water to go through to the taps

This now takes us back to the bill of such a huge amount of R47 333.43 we have been receiving, but still we have no water and the bill keeps increasing every month? and also since few years back our ordinary water was cut off and we have been receiving the free water for quite a while. but the bill is ridiculous.

That is why we decided to go ourselves to the offices of Municipality (water and sanitation) on the 26th of August and a lady by name of Andile Goba, she advice us that plumbers will be sent for full inspection on the 28th of August to check why would we receive such a huge bill for water. so the plumbers will check if there is any leaking pipes or what. and we will pay R550.00 for the plumbers. Even today we still waiting and none of the plumbers have been sent for inspection and the bill still increase each every month. and recently after I have sent an email to the management Thuli Mdluli and Barnard Gabela were appointed to handle the matter. but honestly they have done nothing much to assist us, yet they telling us the bill will remain the same they will not erase it and start all over, even though we have provided several proof and also they now aware that the faults comes from the department, hence the meter was and still faulty, they also refuse to replace the water meter.

they have not completely switch off the water, for days we had no water at all. My Dad is too old almost 70 years now and also my mother can not walk as her leg was amputated and she needs water to take her medication and also to bath. This has been going on for too long now. So now where they should get the money R47,333.43 to pay, while the have been reporting about the meter and water problem since years back? these people are pensioners they earn less, They need to buy groceries, pay electricity, buy their medications, they also raising my late brother`s son, who also lost his mom, the list is endless, the stress is affecting and it increasing their blood pressure”

Await for your kind respond
