Lack of due deligency and breach of contract

There lack of due deligency and contract manipulation from this company is alarming. Property brokers are meant to represent the tenants as much as they represent the landlords but this company uses the contract to take advantage of their tenants, we are expected to move into a filthy apartment and when we refused they want to take our money without us moving into the apartment because their contract says the landlord can only attend to our complaints if he thinks it’s necessary. So we paid full amount for deposit and rent of the 27th and the place was not ready on the 1st which we understood but that was our mistake. Now we are stuck in our old place because till today the place has not been attended to and we don’t have money to pay rent where we are because we paid them and their are protecting their client. I don’t understand why advertise a place if you are not ready to make sure it’s satisfactory for people paying their hard earned cash to live in.

They breached the contract because the place is not up to standard especially for the money we are paying, and when we cancelled they said we are breaching contract and just want to take R15000 for free
