Shoddy service and failure to deliver promised free gift by Estee Lauder South Africa

Do not ever take advantage of any offers by Estee Lauder South Africa online. They simply do not keep their promises. For the second time, the free gift they were offering failed to arrive with my parcel even though it was logged on my order. My parcel was itself late. An attempt to get help from their customer online service means being kept waiting for hours, only to find an unhelpful person on the other end. Writing to them results in no reply either.

I noticed also that they continued to market their free gift for a few days after I had placed my order, suggesting that running out of supplies (the excuse they used last time) holds no water.

I will be changing the brand of make up and skincare products I use, and closing my account and of course removing myself from their loyalty programme. In my opinion these people don't deserve to be in business.
