False Advertising

On 11 June I received a promotional e-mail from Estee Lauder promising a FREE GIFT with any purchase over R900. I placed my order for their products to the value of over R1000 DUE to the promotion on the same day and it arrived on 18 June WITHOUT the FREE GIFT. A consultant phoned me to tell me that they will be sending it to me as there was a \technical glitch". This is unacceptable for a brand like this to deliver such service and not deliver on their promotional advertising.

This is false advertising to gain more sales without delivering on their promise of a free gift. This contravenes the Consumer Protection Act

I've posted on their social media"
