Estee Lauder Counter - Edgars Fourways Mall

I visited the Estee Lauder counter at the Edgars Fourways mall recently to try on the Double Wear Foundation as I haven't before. My intention was to match my skin tone to a suitable colour and possibly get a sample so that I may try it on my skin for a few days before purchasing online. I explained this to the lady at the counter (unfortunately I cannot remember her name). She wasn't friendly and seemed annoyed that I was there just to find a suitable colour and not purchase it from her counter. So what if I intended to purchase it online. I am very aware that Estee Lauder suggests that we try on the colour in store before purchasing, I am also aware that other Estee Lauder counters provide samples for almost 7 days of use so that you may decide if you like it. After the lady did the colour match she tried on a little make up on me and then proceeded to tell me that the foundation I currently have on is too light for me - I appreciate constructive criticism however she then asked another make up artist if the colour is too light, the artist then said something in another language and then they laughed. I do not appreciate that kind of behaviour. I felt self conscious and humiliated. I think I will stick to my current brand of foundation! Also, before I left I asked the artist to give me a sample of the colour she suggests so that I can try it at home to decide if I like it. She said that she didn't have that colour (she didn't even bother to check). I'm not some cheap person who went there to get free make up but I sure as hell felt that way. I am so disappointed and saddened by her attitude towards me especially since I am a polite person.
