De*****ed by eSky Travel?

I recently made a return flight booking on eSky, which appears to be an online portal to provide travelers with booking options. This was paid for in full on 16 November, in the amount of nearly R3400. Having not received confirmation of the booking (approx 5 weeks subsequent to booking), I attempted to obtain confirmation of this booking. This was an extremely frustrating process, and I was unable to obtain the confirmation, which resulted in me going to the airlines' counters at OR Tambo airport (outbound flight on Safair, return flight on Mango). The confounding outcome of this was that the return flight was actually in Mango's records, however, Safair had no record of the outbound flight. I attempted to use all three of possible email addresses I may have used to log in an validate my bookings to no avail. The contact options to resolve my problem were totally unsatisfactory and quite frankly useless. It almost appears that the website is set up to create a circular problem that does not permit a genuine inquiry into customer problems. The conclusion I arrive at is that eSky have "made off" with the cost of the outbound flight, since the ticket was not issued (ie. the Safair flight). This is further supported by the fact that Mango confirmed that the credit card used to pay for this leg (so by eSky) of the journey was a Mastercard, whilst I used a Visa card to effect payment. I had to book an additional flight (one-way) to ensure the completion of the round trip at a cost of just over R900. In defense of eSky, I may have inadvertently used an incorrect email address when making the booking, however, my attempts to determine and correct the email address were met with similar amounts of user unfriendliness and frustration.
