Epson Promotional **** on Printers, Aug & sept 2018

Epson Ran a promotion on printers for August and September 2018 where you get a certain amount of money back from Epson pending on the model of printer bought.

On 24 September 2018 we bought an Epson L4150 printer from Makro Wonderboom in Pretoria SA. That after being convinced by the Epson representative on the premisis and told that we will receive R400 back from Epson in a short time. We already had a Canon printer at R500 cheaper in the trolley but decided to get the Epson seeing that we will get back R400 and the Epson seem a more compact design which we liked. See the invoice is available.

On 24 September 2018 at 08h54pm I received a reply from Epson with the claim # after registering the claim which included my banking details On 25 September Epson confirmed that the claim was approved On 09 October Epson send an email telling me they don't have my bank details, that after it was filled in on the web application form on 24 September The same day I send them the bank details in a reply to their email On 11 October they came back with the same story by saying they are waiting for my bank details The same day I accused them that this is a **** and salesman talk and send the banking detail again Also on 11 October Epson suddenly came back telling me they now have the banking details and the claim was submitted for payment On 16 October I asked Epson when the payment will be made On 19 October they came back to me telling me that there was a delay with the payments and they hope it will be made within the next 15 working days Again on 29 October Epson again came back with the old story of not having my banking details On 31 October at 6h35 pm they told me the delay was because of a mistake on their side and the claim will now be paid On 31 October at 7h09 pm they told me the claim was approved and payment will take place within the next 30 days On 01 November they came back with the same story by saying they are waiting for my bank details

This is a **** and they are trying their best to get rid of me. Makro treated me well and the mistake is not theirs except for allowing a representative from Epson on their premise.
