Epson L3251
I bought my printer on the 01 Feb 2023, a week ago it had two red lights flashing which means that it requires an ink pad replaced. I logged a call with the service representative who directed me to contact their support team and get them to replace the ink pads. I Then wrote to the part serve company and they have given me locations to which I need to take the item to be repaired, the closest repair centre in 3hours drive and would cost R5300 to quote and repair. I obviously declined that option as a new unit is R3900.00. Thus, Epson have given me two options, pay R5200 to repair the item that has not even lasted 2 years, or throw it away and buy a new one. Thus, unless you live in a city, there is no point in buying an Epson as the customer care simply don't care. Epson are a huge corporation and customer service should be a priority.
