You must come back

I think Engen garages should get a reward for terrible service. I bought a car wash at Engen 14th Avenue in Roodepoort. When I arrived at the car wash area I asked a nearby attendant if I should leave the key with them because I wanted to go to a nearby shop or if I should take my car and come back later. I wasn't trying to get ahead of the queue, just asking a reasonable question. The attendant told me he doesn't know when he will be ready for my car (there were 2 cars ahead of me in the queue and 4-5 attendants). When I pressed further he said he doesn't know how long, for a job he does all day, will take before he gets through 2 cars ahead of me. Then he told me I must go back - that's despite the fact I already prepaid. When I asked to see the manager he just pointed at the garage shop and told me he won't help me with my car wash. I was refunded at the shop and left my number so the 'missing' manager could contact me. It comes as no surprise that I hadn't received a single call from them. Frankly, when the space on which the garage is situated was an empty parking lot, it was more useful. IT certainly didn't waste my time. Useless is the nicest word I could say about this garage. At another garage, they would have been finishing washing my car in the time it took the *********** attendant to pretend that he is too swamped with work to help me. All this did was make me angry that this person had wasted my time.
