WTH Brentwood Park Engen Service Station?!

We arrived at Engen Brentwood Park, as we do every week, to fill up, using the same fleetcard we always use. The petrol attendant peered at the disc on the car windscreen and announced it did not tie up with the fleet card. Is it supposed to????? The fleetcard states the make of car plus the registration plates attached to the car and that has ALWAYS been sufficient.But no,apparently today this was not the case. A very embarrassing 10minutes later, with the forecourt manager insisting that this had been the case for the last two years (?) we had to pay cash for our fuel. What if we had no other means of payment with us?? And the staff were not exactly sensitive to the situation, embarrassing us in front of the other customers at the service station. We then went to Engen Great North and asked if this was something new, and were told very definitely that they NEVER compared the disc to the card. WTH Brentwood Park, you will not see us again!!
