The matter is still not resolved and I’m being ignored by Engen headoffice. I have been to Engen Helderberg during December holidays and your Wi-Code service was offline I have been to 5different Engen service stations and I still couldn’t redeem the voucher which I believe now it has expired.
Below is my initial complaint logged in December 2022.
We received an Engen voucher from our work which I have been struggling to redeem at your engen garages(value of R300). On two occasions I have been embarrassed by this , because your Engen tellers/managers don’t know how to redeem this voucher. I have been to the Engen in Rivergate Parklands Capetown the manager there told me that his system for the vouchers is offline and there is nothing he can do and they have logged a query with head office , that was it. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for the fuel. Yesterday I spent over an hr with the manager in Bothasig Engen trying to redeem this voucher and still not successful, ended paying again out of pocket monies I did not budget for. This is very frustrating and inconveniencing me as every time I go to the petrol station I always tell them I’m going to pay using a voucher then i am told it’s fine the next thing when it’s time to pay I experience problems . Yesterday was a nightmare trying to resolve this issue with the store manager in Bothasig by the name of Richard and he promised to call me back I’m still waiting. I also wish to report one of the tellers/cashier who was so unprofessional and rude towards me yesterday in Bothasig in front of her manager by the Name of Zikhona, I left the store unpleased. Can this be sorted out ASAP as the voucher is expiring soon
