Very disappointed

At approximately 18.55 on 16 August, I went to Zenex (Corner Jean and Gerhard, Centurion) to top up my diesel. I then went into the store to buy airtime while the tank was being filled. After paying and starting my car, I realised that my fuel gauge was in the exact same spot as it was before topping up. I told the attendant about this and he just sarcastically said that my fuel gauge must not be working.

I insisted, because I do know my car and that the gauge is in perfect working condition, but he just told me that if they gave me a slip, it means diesel was poured into my car.

I requested to see the manager, and was told that he is not available and does not have a mobile number. My fuel gauge in fact does work just fine, and it leads me to believe that someone has been dishonest...

There is no reasonable explanation otherwise, as to why I paid for diesel and got none. I'm very disappointed because I have been filling up at this station for a long time. I will definitely be cautioning my friends and family against going to this particular filling station in future. Integrity goes a long way in business, please keep that in mind
