Tyre valves

I have tried to be understanding with this but I just cant seem to understand. On 30/07/2025 Around 06:30 am as I was filling petrol, I asked the attendant to check tyres and refill accordingly as I had a long journey ahead. The following day when I had to refill my 1 tyre I noticed the metal valve was no longer there. As this has happened before at this garage I went for petrol refill again 04/08/2025 and brought this to the attended (as I remember who assisted me previously). His response was that he may have not fitted the valve properly and it may have fallen off the road while I was driving. He further told me I should check the valves next time before I leave the garage to ensure they are fitted back properly. I was expecting more customer service/trust.
