Scratch my windscreen then call me a ****!

On Tuesday 17 November I went to Engen Fairfield in de Tyger. The petrol attendant filled my car up as requested. He then proceeded to clean my windshield. I advised him NOT to scratch on the 'dirt' spots. He did. When scratching the dirt off with the squeegee, the attendant scratched my window. The car is my wife's, which she bought around this time last year - brand new!! I refused to pay for my fuel, and asked them to call their manager. Management was not on site, and i left my details for him to call me the next day. He did. On Thursday 19 November I went to show him the scratches, and we agreed that I would take it to a windscreen specialist who could advise us what to do next. I went on the same day, and they told me they could buff it out - but this would be at our own risk.

I called the Engen manager back, who told me they would not accept the risk and in short, that it is my problem. I went back to the Engen and proceeded to show the manager on his own vehicle what damage is caused with these 'squeegees'

He then tried to make excuses saying that the builders at my home made the marks, and again in short, not his problem. Manager then told me he was going to call the police for the unpaid fuel bill - I told him to go ahead. I will not pay the account until my windscreen is back to its original state - or replaced.

I then called Engen today, 11 December 2020, to get feedback on my query (***) and was told that my query had been closed?!?

The feedback the manager at the Engen gave was basically saying that I’m making all of this up and there are no scratches, but yet he was trying to polish the scratches out and asked me to go to PG Glass to have it buffed out???

I would like to see the camera footage of the attendant cleaning my windows! The manager says he only did it horizontally, the camera footage will show different.
