******, Rude and ill-disciplined staff!!

On the 12 September I went to Engen Motherwell to fill up, the guy filled up and "made it look" like the car was full as he kept on shaking the vehicle but the gauge stayed on 3/4 to full. When he was done, I called to show him that this vehicle is not filled up. He said it will eventually "even" out, and the bill was for a "full tank" but the tank was not full. I asked him to call his manager, he said the manager had already gone home I must come back the next day as the manager would be available.

I went in the shop and asked for a Supervisor, a lady came and said she is the Supervisor I showed her my petrol slip and my tank. She said unfortunately there is nothing she can do I must come back the next day. The next day I went there and asked for the manager again, now I found a different Supervisor who told me that the manager is off and will be back the next week. She took my number and promise that the manager will definitely call me and as she had already told him about this issue. She even told me that I was not the first customer to have that happen to them, she counted multiple. I sat and waited for the managers call, and NO call materialised. I then waisted my fuel and went to Engen on a Tuesday and asked for a manager and finally I got him. He said he has spoken to his boss and that they will log a complaint because he is also aware of a few other instances like this happening with the same tank. He said they have logged a call and are waiting for their maintenance guys to come check out the tank and that my case is logged a priority and that it will take maintenance 24 hours and he will get back to me.

24 hours turned to 336 hours (14 days) without so much as a call, and when the call finally arrived after 2 weeks, (yeah you guessed it) there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with the tank. So there is nothing they can do, I must just deal with it basically😂😂.

I just want to tell you ****** Engen that I use a fleet card where the company I work for has partnered with you and all their vehicles NATIONWIDE only use your establishments, I don't think they know that they are supporting ******, and I will escalate the matter.

Another Engen in Markman I went the this afternoon just before 6 to fill up again (coz partnership🤦♂️) they guy fills up and he takes kilometers, goes inside to make a payment he comes back saying that the cashier (lady named Sipiwe) says the card is declining citing "general decline" I go to her and I ask her what does that mean as I've never heard of it before? She shouts from the top of her lungs behind the till that "it means there is NO MONEY, ITS DECLINING" 😳 😳 😳 I ask her is there a reason why you are screaming? I mean there was looking queue of people listening to this conversation. She said "I don't know what you want me to do as I have been speaking to you like this the whole time " Used my personal card, took what was still left of my dignity and left.

I just want to let them know that I will escalate this matter.
