Risk of contaminated food

I was this morning at this filling station to purchase fuel when decide to get myself a pie. When I walk into the Woolworths food shop also in the station. When I walk in I go straight to the pie station to find an old white man (I am mentioning race because this became a revisit field) picking up pies with his hands examining them then puts them down (which then means other customers will buy pies that could be contaminated), I then ask the cashiers if we are now faced with situation where we buy food that has been through the hands of the public, they didn’t address, I then ask them to call the manager to whom I narrate my grievance (in English) who then speaks to this man and of they ignore me and speak in Afrikaans disregarding the fact that I made communication in English. This white man had the audacity to say “Ek gaan nie hier staan en luister om deur 'n swart meisie gesê wat om te doen nie”.

It’s one thing to address the issue but I will not take lightly on such ***ist and ****** remarks. Already his attitude when he told me to gory off and the attitude he gave the manager a man.

I refuse to be abused and as such I will open a case against this man. Fortunately I do have the time.

I am equally sending a complaint to Woolworths as well as Engen.
