Poured petrol and the car remained empty

On Monday, 23/02/2015 I poured petrol into my car at Engen garage in Lenchen street in centurion. I refilled with a R100, which usually goes above quarter tank. This time the gauge did not move and the car kept beeping that there was no petrol, I drove out of the filling station with the hope that the gauge will pick up as I drive. When I realise that there was no petrol I drove back to the filling station and I was referred to the manager, who could only say that if the petrol pump reflects that the petrol was dispatched there is nothing they can do. I was really disturbed that they failed to help me and they could not even prove to me that the petrol was poured. I do not understand how 10 litres could disappear just like that without anyone taking responsibility or someone being held accountable! their behaviour leaves very little to be desired......
