Pay for fuel at Delfi Motors Engen and get none.

<p>I stopped at Delfi Motors Engen at roughly 17:30 on 7 June 2017. I stop there regularly as it's close to home. Anyway, I pulled up to the pump and asked the attendant to put R20 unleaded 93 into my car. I gave him the cash and waited for him to put in fuel. I only noticed after I left the garage that my car was still on the same distance to empty as when I stopped (9km to empty). I hadn't asked for a slip but I hoped that I could sort it out with the manager.</p> <p> </p> <p>I went back to query this with the manager. After explaining what happened, the manager of Delfi Motors Engen seemed more interested in proving me wrong than in my query. He walked between the teller and me a few times and then asked me for my number. As I was about to ask him what was going to happen, he piped out with "because I can guarantee that the petrol was put in." So his implication is that I'm lying. Over R20.</p> <p> </p> <p>After this incident I am loathe to ever go back to Delfi Motors Engen. In fact, the actions of the manager has guaranteed not only that I never go back to Delfi Motors Engen, but also that I'll never spend money at another Engen garage again. All of this over R20. I just wanted what I paid for. This level of service is appalling.</p>
