incorrect fuelling

An Engen filling station made a mistake and instead of Diesel, filled my luxury Diesel vehicle with 93 Octane Lead Replacement Gasoline. It took a while with several phone calls, gas station visits, CCTV footage evaluation and bank statement verification, but they admitted the mistake and now we can have the car fixed.
Standard process in terms of liability claim against their insurer required a damage report and quotation which is to be furnished prior, fair enough. The problem is that I have no other vehicle and as a result and I want their insurer to lease/rent me a vehicle. The area manager of Engen says the matter is to be resolved by the franchisee (filling station owner) and that person is adamant his policy does not cover vehicle rental while my vehicle is being repaired.
Question is, who is liable for my total damages, vehicle repair and the fact that I have no means other to lease a vehicle myself to get to and from work. Engen (area manager) does not grasp the concept of \Brand damage"when a Brand representative does something wrong and it in turns gets visibility on social media platforms etc. The filling station owner is oblivious even after my claim is his fourth."""
