Inconsistent diesel price inland

Good morning,

I would please like to find out what the current price of DIESEL 50PPM is at Engen Garages outlets. I'm here at Rowhill Service Station Springs and have just filled R400 diesel and was given a cash slip indicating that I was charged R24.65/l. Today is the 11.12.2023. According to Engens website, your current inland 50ppm diesel prices are R21.99. My wife spoke to the manager (Marieta) and was told that the fuel price already came down.

My concern as a consumer is that if we were to not check up on whether or not your outlets adjust the fuel price correctly when there is a decrease as large as the one for the 01.12.2023, then we would be getting ********** as a consumer.

Please get back to me as soon as possible as this is unacceptable.

Current prices throughout the provinces inland are far less than what I was charged here.
