Fuel contamination with water

Filled in petrol at the garage at about early hours of the morning driving from Richards Bay to Durban full tank. While driving spark plugs blew car lost power and took it to VW Balitto. Upon doing diagnostics and report it was the fuel from the garage that was contaminated causing spark plugs to blow. Managed to get to the owner who came up with numerous reasons not to own up to the incident. Did further research found that the garage tanks have a problem with water leaks. Even though I was not assisted. I hope someone else can get help from this incident.
