fisical injury

On the 19th November 2016 at around 4am in the morning my husband and I stopped at Belfast Engen on the N4 for some coffee. As we were standing at the paypoint to make payment the electronic sliding door opened and closed without customers using it. My husband left as the cashier gave me change, the doors opened for him and as i turned I looked down to my purse and started making my way to the door. As I was in the door way the electronic door closed on me jamming me between the two doors.

I had servere pain and bruising due to this my right and left upper arm was unmovable during the rest of our trip towards Johannesburg. I still have the bruises and the pain in the right arm. My concern is that I am an adult, what would have happened if that door closed on a toddler?
