Engren One Stop Kranskop South
This is an incident that I have to share. In February of this year, I went to Polokwane for a week-end. On my return, I stopped to fill at Engen One Stop, Kranskop South. I filled and my petrol bill came to R796-00. When I checked, I only had R700-00 cash. I decided to withdraw money from the ATM, as I needed cash for the toll gates as well. However, the ATM was faulty and I could not get any cash. I decided to phone my son and ask him to send me money via the phone. Being a Sunday, I could also not locate my son and I was stranded there. As I was R96-00 short, and stranded, I, just could not sit there and wait. I left without paying with the knowledge I owed Engen One Stop Kranskop South, R96-00. Needless to say that I felt guilty, but I had no choice. I reached home safely and on Monday I managed to get the number of the fuel stop. I spoke to a person by the name of Andries. It told him what had happened and asked him for their bank details, so that I could repay the shortfall of the previous day. I also realised that due to my negligence to pay the full amount, I had jeopardized the attendant's job and knew that he would be required to pay that amount. I told Andries that I would deposit the deficit and a small gratuity for the attendant concerned. Thanks to that great attendant and I apologise for my indiscretion. Thanks Andries and the unknown attendant. Your understanding in this matter is appreciated. May God bless you and your families.
